Who is Marry Wollstonecraft ? 

Marry Wollstonecraft is a Mother of Feminist. 
Her Philosophy is based on liberal feminism
She was an English writer, moral and political philosopher and advocate of women’s right.
Marry Wollstonecraft was born on 27th April 1759.
she was the second of the seven children of Elizabeth Dixon and Edward John Wollstonecraft.
In 1784 at the age of 24 Marry Wollstonecraft  opened up her own school for girls at Newington Green.

Marry Wollstonecraft’s view on Women Education

She emphasize on women education.
Women should be strong mentally & Physically through education
Women must be independent & well educated.
Rational, educated & independence women became observant daughter, affectionate sisters, faithful wife and reasonable mothers.

Education according to Wollstonecraft 

According to her education is an essential element for the people of the society.
Wollstonecraft and others criticized the traditional based education traditionally offered women
She focus on Equal Education for women as men.
She also maintains that schooling should be co-educational.
Wollstonecraft wants true equality in education for women’s rights and true freedom.
Equal access in education and the changes in the laws necessary to achieve those key elements in the struggle for women equality.

Curriculum

Traditional curriculum is not suitable for education.
Gender equality needs to be addressed in curriculum selection.
